Abstract
Island Resort is a non-profit resort that will be created to provide families the ultimate, comprehensive experience in our hotel and recreational facilities. Island Resort will be located in South Padre Island (SPI), Texas. Individuals will be able to partake in the resort programs in an economical manner. Our mission is to provide families a five-star experience at two-star price. Island Resort helps make unforgettable memories. The resort pricing strategy ensures fairness and equity for people who want to spend a nice vacation but they don’t have resources for traditional high-quality resorts. Island Resort believes in values that improve customers’ satisfaction and service improving knowledge sharing, environment protection, and customers’ lives. To support the Island Resort organization, some business materials have made such as a business card, stationary, and brochure. The Island Resort website was designed with Dreamweaver, and the website content gives customers a clear and simple idea about the resort programs which are scuba diving program, swimming lessons program, bike rental program, and kids club which all have a specialized logo. The website contains external links for other island’s attractions and activities. Island Resort home page shows the main logo designed by Photoshop that has palm trees in the center to remind people of the clear sky and warm sands. A circular logo was used as it is an effective shape that is used widely and commonly in organizations’ logos. The logo color is green (aqua), the color of nature, which significants freshness and safety. Each resort’s program has its own logo designed by Photoshop too. Furthermore, visual representation is a powerful aid in today’s industry, so a 10 seconds Flash animation was created to express the brand and emphasize the main logo.
