Abstract
A maze is a complex branching puzzle with choices of paths. Laser Maze is a game that utilizes the concept of mazes to help develop logical problem solving skills. The key goal is for the player to work their way through the maze’s complex branches to find the right path to get to the end point. However, this is not just a simple matter of picking different paths. The player cannot simply turn left, right or go straight while trying to solve the maze. Each branch of the maze is locked by a laser puzzle. A branch can consist of an assortment of various path options. The player will have to solve this puzzle in order to open up the alternate paths. The puzzle room will have a single laser reference, and the player will have to use crystals within the room to redirect the laser to a switch to open the door blocking their access to the branch paths. As the laser makes contact with the crystal, the crystal will redirect the laser to come out of the front of the crystal. All crystals within the room will have a limited range or area that the user can move them around. Laser Maze is a game designed to make you think. It will test your ability to solve puzzles using logical problem solving.
