Biography

Dr. Ajeet Kaushik received his PhD (Chemistry-Biosensor; 2010) in collaboration with National Physical Laboratory and JamiaMiliaIslamia, India. Presently, he is working as Post-Doctorial Associate at Center of Personalized Nanomedicine, Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University (FIU), USA to explorenano-carrires for site-specific on-demand drug delivery and release to prevent neuroAIDS. Ha has also completed a Post-Doc in the area of the fabrication of BioMEMS based electrochemical biosensor for biomarkers detection using nanostructures at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering ofFIU. He has also worked at Chungnam National University, Deajeon, Korea as vising researcher and at Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland as a research Assistant. He has published over 50 international research papers in the area of nanostructured platforms for biosensor application. His main research forces towards the fabrication of wearable sensor at point-of-care along with design and development of nanocarries for on-demand controlled drug delivery at disease sitesfor personalizes health.
