About Carcinosarcoma
A cancerous tumor that combines sarcoma and carcinoma, a form of cancer of epithelial tissue that affects skin and the tissue that lines or covers internal organs (cancer of connective tissue, such as bone, cartilage, and fat). Rare tumors called carcinosarcomas can develop in many different organs, including the skin, salivary glands, lungs, esophagus, pancreas, colon, uterus, and ovaries.
