Urology combines the management of medical conditions, such as urinary tract infections and benign prostatic hyperplasia, with the management of surgical conditions such as bladder or prostate cancer, kidney stones, congenital abnormalities, traumatic injury, and stress incontinence.The most common problems are those involving disorders of urination, reproductive organs and testes.

Pediatric urologists are surgeons who can diagnose, treat, and manage childrens urinary and genital problems. Pediatric urologists generally provide the following services like Evaluation and management of voiding disorders, vesicoureteral reflux, and urinary tract infections that require surgery, Surgical reconstruction of the urinary tract including genital abnormalities, hypospadias, and disorders of sex development, Surgical management of tumors and malignancies of the kidney, bladder, and testis, etc.
