About Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis is an immune system related disease that causes inflammation of the joints and at different ranges of the body. Rheumatoid affects tissue that lines within joints to thicken, bringing about swelling and pain in and around the joints. Some of the common symptoms are fatigue, joint pain, joint tenderness, joint swelling, joint redness, joint warmth, joint stiffness, loss of joint range of motion, limping, joint deformity, many joints affected (polyarthritis), both sides of the body affected (symmetric), loss of joint function, anaemia and fever.
