"Psychotic disorders are severe mental disorders that alter a person’s ability of thinking and perceptions. People with psychoses lose touch with reality. Two of the main symptoms are delusions and hallucinations. The patients face difficulty in staying in touch with reality. Schizophrenia is one type of psychotic disorder. People with bipolar disorder may also have psychotic symptoms. Other problems that can cause psychosis include alcohol and some drugs, brain tumors, brain infections, and stroke. Journal of Traumatic Stress Disorders & Treatment is an online peer-reviewed scholarly journal that aims to publish the most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in all areas pertaining to traumatic stress and mental disorders. Journal of Traumatic Stress Disorders & Treatment publishes results of research on Traumatic Stress, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, Psychological Trauma, Mental Disorders and their Treatments. The Journal uses Editorial Manager System to maintain quality review process. Editorial Manager is an online manuscript submission, review and tracking system.
