Seroprevalence of Natural Rubella Antibodies among Antenatal Attendees at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, Eldoret, Kenya

Rubella is of public health importance because infection acquired during early pregnancy, often results in foetal abnormalities that are classified as congenital rubella syndrome (CRS). Congenital rubella syndrome occurs in up to 90% of infants born to women who are infected with rubella, during their first trimester of pregnancy.
