Biography
Dr. Alexander Reznik is senior research associate of the Regional Alcohol and Drug Abuse Resources Center, Department of Social Work, Ben Gurion University, Israel. He has served as Lecturer and Researcher of Military Naval Academy, Far Eastern Federal University, and as Chairman of the Department of Psychology, Maritime State University, Vladivostok, Russia. He received his doctorate from the Institute of Psychology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow. Dr. Reznik is the author of books and scientific publications of substance abuse among high risk populations including former Soviet Union immigrants. Dr. Reznik’s research interests include multicultural aspects of substance abuse, immigration, acculturation, and vulnerable populations. Also, he is Consultant and Group Counselor to the Israel Anti-Drug Authority.
