Biography
Dr. Anderson is a southern California native, who received her education at the University of Pennsylvanna, an Ivy League institution, with a degree in Molecular Biology and a minor concentration in Chemistry. After returning home to Southern California she undertook graduate studies at UCLA in the Physiological Sciences department where she concentrated in Neurophysiology. She entered medical school at the UCLA School of Medicine, completing her studies in 2003. The next four years were spent studying General Surgery at a local Los Angeles medical center from where she entered fellowship training in the Burn and Reconstructive Surgery Unit at LAC+USC Burn Center for one year. From USC her studies led her to a year-long fellowship under the unsurpassed mentorship of world renowned reconstructive Surgeon Dr. Salah Rubayi.
Dr. Anderson holds wound certification from the American Professional Wound Care Association, and she hold certification in Hyperbaric Medicine from International ATMO through the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society.
Dr. Anderson takes pride and great interests in her patients, striving daily to offer innovative and cost effective compassionate care, which restores the quality of life to her patients. In her spare time Dr. Anderson finds immense joy and peace in caring for her young children with her husband. She enjoys traveling and participating in sports, and feels that humor and a positive attitude are essential to good medicine.
