Dr. Ashwin Avadhani has more than 12 years of experience in the field of orthopaedics. He graduated from one of India’s premier medical colleges in 2002. He pursued his post-graduation in orthopaedic surgery from the prestigious Manipal University where he received the gold medal for best outgoing postgraduate in the department of Orthopedics in 2007. He also received his Diplomate of National Board in Orthopedics the following year. Dr. Avadhani was ranked 2nd in the country for selection into a two year national board affiliated spine surgery training programme in India in 2008. During his training period, he published 25 research papers in international indexed journals and was also a member of the editorial team

In 2010-2011, he underwent advanced spine surgical fellowship training in Singapore. Prior to joining NMC, he was working as a Consultant spine surgeon in a tertiary care hospital in Bangalore, India

Dr. Avadhani specialises in a vast array of spine surgeries ranging from microscopic cervical and lumbar discectomies to advanced spinal deformity correction surgeries
