Biography

Dr. Zeng is a multidisciplinary researcher. Since 1989, he has been working in the agricultural economics, tourism economics, natural resources management and environmental management field. He has a strong research focus and interest in the participation of disadvantaged groups including Indigenous people in the sustainable development in rural communities.

Prior to his current position, he worked for the Chinese Academy of Science, Chinese National Committee for Man and the Biosphere Programme under UNESCO, and The Northern Territory Department of Natural Resources, Environment, The Arts and Sport.

Since 1989, Dr. Zeng has been involved in a number of research projects, conferences and events. He has published a number of scholarly papers in national and international journals including some top journals.
