Biography
Edythe Tham is a graduate of the University of Adelaide, Australia. She underwent Pediatric training at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in South Australia and the Sydney Children’s Hospital, and obtained her Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Pediatrics in 2002. She trained in Pediatric Cardiology at the Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford from 2001-2004, followed by a senior fellowship in Echocardiography and CardiacMRI at Children’s Hospital, Boston from 2004-2005. She joined the cardiology team at the Stollery Children’s Hospital and Diagnostic Imaging in March 2006 while also continuing training at the Brompton Hospital, London studying Functional Cardiac MRI for 3 months. Her research interests are in combined imaging techniques using echocardiography and MRI, particularly infants with single ventricle, and patients with cardiomyopathies.
