Biography
Fabio Dentale is currently an Assistant Professor of Hydraulics at the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Salerno and a member of the Academic Board of the PhD program in Civil Engineering for the Environment and Territory. He has graduated in Civil Engineering in Civil Engineering (Hydraulics) at University of Salerno, in 2000. He earned his PhD in 2003 in Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering at University of Salerno. Since 2005, he has been appointed as an Assistant Professor for the scientific sector ICAR/01- Hydraulics at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Salerno where he holds the course "Hydraulic The environmental "and co-teaches the courses of Maritime Hydraulics, Project Activities in the Maritime Hydraulics, Environmental Fluid Dynamics. He has been co-advising the degree thesis, author/co-author of national and international papers. His research focuses on the use of numerical modeling to reproduce some of the phenomena that affect the Maritime Hydraulics: Sediment transport and erosion of sandy coasts; Risk Analysis and coastal slopes of the wave; Design methods of harbor works and coastal protection; Applications of SAR images of the sea.
