Dr. Farid Menaa, [Bsc. Bioeng. and Biochemistry, Bsc. Physiology and Cell Biology, Master Genetics, National Master Gerontology, Doctor in Radiation Oncology (2003, Paris, France), 3 post-docs in Oncology (CA, USA); Dermatology and Stem cells (Bavaria, Germany), Hematology and Genomics (São Paulo, Brazil), Executive MBA in Entrepreneurship and MD candidate], is a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary professional with a medical and scientific holistic point of view. Dr. Menaa assumed various functions (e.g. Engineer, PI, Professor, Researcher). Besides his academic achievements, Dr Menaa worked in various pharmaceutical, chemical and biotechnological companies (e.g Aventis, Guerbet SA, Fluorotronics, Inc). Dr. Menaa was the head of the Oncology, Genomics, and Nanomedicine Department, and the CSO/EVP at Fluorotronics USA, Inc., San Diego, CA, USA. He is also the Founder, President and CEO of Consulting, Global innovation and Trade, Ltda (Brazil). Dr. Menaa was nominated in “Who´s Who in the World” in 2013. Dr. Menaa is often invited as a renowned speaker and session chairman in numerous scientific, medical, technological and business events. Besides, Dr. Menaa organized scientific events, including in Nanosciences, Nanomedicine and Nanotechnology, and has delivered lectures to several private organizations and academic institutions. Dr. Menaa holds dozens of articles in Nanotechnology, Nanosciences and Nanomedicine, and serves the scientific and medical communities as an editor and/or reviewer for many esteemed journals in the field, including Journal of Nanomaterials & Molecular Nanotechnology (SciTechnol). Dr. Menaa is the recipient of several awards and a member of prestigious scientific and medical associations.

Dr. Menaa´s R&D interests include the integration of innovative green techniques, including nanoscale technologies, methods and applications for personalized and translational (nano-)medicine. His persistent goal is to improve the outcomes of cancer patients, stroke patients and delay the aging process while improving the humans life quality. In the nano-segment, Dr. Menaa´s current focuses include nanoscale biosensors, natural polymers, regenerative medicine & tissue engineering, cancer nano-theranostics and food nanotechnology. Dr. Menaa is the co-pioneer of an emergent technology for medical and pharmaceutical applications called “Spectro-Fluor™”.
