George L Tipoe is an Assistant Professor in Department of Anatomy at The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. His research interests include Role of nitric oxide and cylclooxygenase genes in inflammatory diseases of the lungs and liver, Molecular mechanisms involved in the adaptive response of the liver in chronic hypoxia, Role of oxidative stress involving lung and liver diseases, Cell biology and signal transduction molecules with emphasis on human diseases and clinical applications
Research Interest
Dr. George L Tipoe research interest are Inflammation, hypoxia, oxidative stress, autophagy and apoptosis, Mechanisms of non-alcoholic liver disease, Antioxidants, phytochemical agents, multifunctional drugs and medicinal herbs.
