Biography
Dr. Jamie Henningson is an Assistant Professor at Diagnostic Medicine Pathobiology Department, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University, USA. Dr. Jamie Henningson did PhD in 2008 from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her primary responsibility is as a diagnostic pathologist for the Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, which involves biopsy and necropsy services from referring veterinarians and the KSU Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. She is also the faculty supervisor of the histology and immunohistochemistry laboratory, which involves overseeing daily procedures and assisting in the development of new tests. She has published various articles.
Research Interest
Dr. Jamie Henningson's research responsibilities are mainly providing pathology support for collaborative studies. Past and current collaborative projects have included bovine viral diarrhea virus in cattle and alpacas, canine influenza virus, canine urethral bulking agents, swine Influenza virus, pH1N1 in swine, and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus. Recently, She has provided pathology support on a mouse model for prostate cancer. She is interested in assisting researchers with the pathological aspects of their studies in infectious disease or neoplastic disease.
