Dr. Jennifer G. Plebani has conducted research on the treatment of addictive disorders, including the evaluation of behavioral interventions for nicotine dependence, and pharmacotherapies for the treatment of cocaine dependence and alcohol dependence. Dr. Plebani current research interests include investigating the mechanisms of action of promising pharmacotherapies in human laboratory studies, as well as clinical trials combining behavioral interventions such as contingency management with promising pharmacotherapies for cocaine, alcohol and opiate dependence.

Dr. Jennifer G. Plebani's research interests include: Role of stress and craving on cocaine and alcohol use, health behaviors during substance abuse treatment, and behavioral pharmacology.
