Biography
Dr. John Abraham performs research in the thermal sciences. His activities include basic research as well as applied studies. The areas of focus are biomedical and energy/climate. Among his contributions are those of monitoring ocean temperatures as they absorb energy, wind power generation for the developing world, and laminar-to-turbulent transitional flow. He has also published in the areas of paleoclimatology, climate sensitivity, and in other areas of oceanography. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Abraham has produced approximately 200 journal papers, conference presentations, books, book chapters and patents.
