Biography
Karen is a physiotherapist who is interested in the role and benefits of physical activity after stroke. She is employed as a research assistant on the AVERT trial, and is doing her PhD research through LaTrobe University. Her thesis topic is “Changes in bone structure, muscle mass and glucose metabolism post stroke”.
