Research Focus & Areas of Interest:

• Impact of trauma on the physical and psychological functioning of Lebanese individuals, families and communities.
• Assessment of PTSD, depression & general health status in war trauma victims (POW’s and civilian populations)
• Intervention studies in South Lebanon: Cognitive Behavioral Group Therapy for trauma victims; school-based mental health educational programs to parents and teachers of students.
