Biography

Ms. Liliane Pasape is a trained Animal Scientist who develops her career in the field of Business Administration and Management. She has vast experience with excellent knowledge, ability and skills on Strategic Planning and Management; Marketing Management as well as Administration and Human Resources Management.

Academically, Liliane holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science from Sokoine University of Agriculture- Tanzania; and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade- India, and is currently finalizing her PhD studies in International Marketing at the University of Dar es Salaam Business School-Tanzania.

Over the years, she has been involved in a number of assignments across a wide range of organizations, both in public and private sectors such as Micro Financing, Telecommunication, Competition and Consumer Protection as well as Manufacturing, Research and Academics. These opportunities enable her to develop strong capabilities and skills in analysis, planning, monitoring, evaluation and management of business and development projects at both local and international level.

Moreover, Liliane has been involved in various societal and industrial networks in different capacities just to mention the few are; Tanzania Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture (as a member, Executive Officer and Vice Chairman- Commerce in Arusha Regional Chamber); Tanzania Commission for HIV and AIDS (as a peer educator and a member of Arusha Regional Capacity Building Team). Likewise, Liliane is a Facilitator and Trainer for various organization and societal networks on entrepreneurship, innovation management, competition and competitiveness management as well as sustainable development.
 

Research Interest

Her research interest falls within the areas of international business management, entrepreneurship and strategic marketing, innovation and technology management as well as ecotourism and sustainable development.
