is a Doctor of Science (Biology) from Faculty of Sciences at National Autonomous University of Mexico. she holds her Master of Phytopathology from the Center of Plant Pathology in Graduate School of Chapingo. She is affiliated with Mycotoxins Laboratory, Botany Department, Institute of Biology, National Autonomous University of Mexico. Her research interests are Phytopathology, Food Microbiology, and Toxicology.
