Biography

Marco Grossi graduated in Electronic Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Bologna in 2000 with a dissertation on multilevel programming of Flash memory EEPROMs. The research on non-volatile memory programming continued until 2004, when he received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bologna. From 2006 to 2007 he was a consultant at Carpigiani Group for the development of a system for the detection of bacterial concentration in samples of ice cream mix. Later he continued the research on the determination of bacterial concentration by electrical characteristics analysis in collaboration with the University of Bologna. Since 2012 is involved in a research project for the development of innovative methods for the determination of quality parameters in olive oil. He is reviewer for different international journals and author or co-author of about 20 publications, mostly published on peer-reviewed international journals.
