Biography
Dr. Mark McGovern is a Professor of Psychiatry, of Community & Family Medicine, and of The Dartmouth Institute of Health Policy & Clinical Practice at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in Lebanon New Hampshire. Dr. McGovern has received a NIDA career development award and R01 grant funding to translate evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders into routine clinical settings. He has also received awards from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to advance a series of organizational measures of integrated service capacity. Since 2009, he has been the Editor-In-Chief for the Journal of Substance Abuse Treatment (JSAT), the leading scientific journal dedicated to addiction treatment services and implementation research.
