Maurizio Costabile is working in University of South Australia, School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, Adelaide. He is a lecturer in the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences. In 2015 he was awarded a UniSA Digital Learning Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning "For the creation of innovative, engaging and interactive digital simulations that facilitate student learning".
His area of research interest are Immunology Biochemistry, Molecular Pathogenesis of disease, Primary Immunodeficiency diseases.
