Biography
Dr. Pierre-Marie Lepretre is currently working as associate professor at the French University of Picardie Jules Verne. Dr Pierre-Marie Leprêtre received his Doctoral degree or PhD on exercise physiology from the University of Evry-Val d'Essonne (France). Dr Pierre-Marie Leprêtre completed his Masters Exercise physiology and biomechanics from the Universities of Lille II and Paris V. He then worked at the University of Orsay - Paris XI, the hopitaux civils de Strasbourg and the French Institute of Sport and Exercise (INSEP, Paris), served as Associate Professor at the University in 2008 and Exercise scientist at INSEP. Dr. Pierre-Marie Leprêtre has authored several publications in various journals and books. His publications reflect his research interests in cardiorespiratory adaptations to exercise training and exercise performance. Dr. Pierre-Marie Leprêtre is also an Associate Editor of the Journals Frontiers in Exercise Physiology and Biomed. Dr. Pierre-Marie is serving as a memberin Association of European College of Sports Science. He is currently in charge of ongoing scholarly project: effect of Warm-up modalities on subsequent performance in disabled athletes. Dr. Pierre-Marie Leprêtre is awarded or honored by European regional development Fund, Fundation of Caisse d'Epargne, the Council of Picardie and te French Sport Ministry.

Dr. Pierre-Marie Leprêtre’s research focuses on cardiac output, stroke volume, oxygen uptake, pacing, warm-up, exercise recovery, cardiac rehabilitation.
