Purushottam is an Assistant Professor at College of Biotechnology, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, India.  He was a Research Associate in Division of Bacteriology & VPH, IVRI Izatnagar, Bareilly from 2001 to 2004. As a scientist, he is a recipient of many awards for his valuable contributions and discoveries in Plant science. His research interests lie in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Verotoxicity, E. coli, Diarrohea. He is the Editorial Board Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise credits him with many publications in national and international journals.
