Dr. Puspendu Dutta is currently working as Field Officer at the Tea Board India. Dr Puspendu Dutta received his PhD on Agriculture (Plant Physiology) from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya. Dr. Dutta completed his Masters in Crop Physiology from the Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya. He then worked as Research Associate for two and half years in crop research having heavy metal contamination with World Bank funded prestigious National Agricultural Innovation Project. Dr. Dutta has authored several publications in various journals and books. His publications reflect his research interests in Crop Stress Physiology and Biochemistry. Dr. Dutta is awarded by National Merit Certificate.

Dr. Puspendu Dutta research focuses on scientific and technological missions to lead and participate in Project Teams and Product development involving plant science as working area.
