Biography
Dr. R.K. Nanwal born on 15.02.1957 completed B.Sc. (Hons.)
Agric. In 1979 and M.Sc. (Agronomy) in 1981 from Haryana
Agricultural University, Hisar. Joined as Assistant Scientist in
1982. Completed Ph.D. from IARI, New Delhi in 1992. Promoted
to Associate Professor in 1995 and to Professor in 2003. His field
of specialization is crop production. In 1998 received 4.5 months
training on Water resources management in rainfed agriculture in USA.. Published 88
research papers. ICAR award for outstanding multidisciplinary team research in
agriculture and allied sciences for the triennium 1994-96. Teaching various UG and PG
course. Best teacher award for 2005-06 by CCSHAU, Hisar. Since 2007 holding the
additional responsibility of Associate Director Students Welfare (Counseling and
Placement).
