Ravindra N Kharwar is currently working as a Professor at Department of Botany, Banaras Hindu University, India. He received a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in botany from Gorakhpur University in the year of 1997. He did his M.Sc. in botany from Gorakhpur University in the 1989.  He has worked for more than 10 years in the Microbiology, Plant Microbes Interaction and gained a plethora of knowledge in plant science. He has published numerous research papers and articles in reputed journals and has various other achievements in Microbiology, Plant Microbes Interaction. His research interests lie in ISR, SA, Tomato, PGPR, Biocontrol, Pseudomonas fluorescence. He has extended his valuable service towards the scientific community with his extensive research work. He served as a Professor for more than 15 years in Department of Botany, Banaras Hindu University, India.  As a Professor, he is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in plant science. His research interests lie in Phytopathology, mycology, microbiology. He is the Editorial Board Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise, as a Professor credits him with many publications in national and international journals. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his authorship of many books.
