Biography
Dr. Samia Mohammed Al-Amoudi is a Saudi doctor, a breast cancer survivor and activist in the field of global fight against breast cancer and is currently the CEO of Sheikh Mohammed Hussien Al-Amoudi Center of Excellence in Breast Cancer at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, and recently got the approval of the High Commissioner of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to become the first gulf women elected as a Board Member in the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) in Geneva. Dr. Samia Al-Amoudi graduated from the Second High School in Jeddah in 1975; entered the college of medicine in King Abdul Aziz (KAU) in Jeddah and graduated in 1981, obtained the Arab board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1987. The doctor was the head of her own medical centre, Dr. Samia Al-Amoudi medical centre, before she became active in the awareness of breast cancer field.
