Sanjay Kumar Uniyal is affiliated to Biodiversity Division CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, India. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.  His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.  He is the Editorial Board Member and serves as a member of various associations apart from being an author for many books.  

Dr. Sanjay Kumar Uniyal’s research interests involve:

• Floral resource documentation, status surveys, and recording traditional beliefs & customs of local people in the western Himalaya
• Documenting spread of alien species and the impacts of changing climatic conditions on Himalayan flora
