Satendra Kumar was born on 6 th November 1970 at Tanda, district Faizabad now Ambedkar Nagar (U.P.). He has completed my high school and intermediate from H.T.I.C. (U.P. Board), Tanda in 1984 & 1986 respectively. After that enrolled in B.Sc.(Ag.) at Narendra Deva University of Agriculture & Technology, Faizabad and received B.Sc.(Ag.) & M.Sc. (Ag.) Soil Science degree in 1989 and 1992 respectively. After that he joined Ph.D. Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry at C.S. Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur and completed in 1997 on research topic “Mineralization of nitrogen applied through organic & Inorganic sources in relation to nitrogen use efficiency in rice”. He was awarded by university fellowship in the Ph. D. degree programme. Then he started his carrier on 20th December 1995 as an Assistant Professor, Soil Science from C.S.A. University of Agriculture & Technology, (Faculty of Agricultural Engineering & Technology) Campus-Etawah & taught the B.Tech. (Agril. Engg.) Students, there after promoted to Assistant Professor (Sr. Scale) in 1999, and become Associate Professor, Soil Science in 2004 and worked up to 09th July 2008 at the same institution. After that he joined at the same post Associate Professor, Soil Science, and working in the department of Soil Science, at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture & Technology, Modipuram, Meerut, since 10thJuly 2008. He has 12 Research paper, 60 abstract, 06 popular articles. 04 M.Sc.(Ag.) and 08 B.Tech {Agril.Engg, (Project)} Students completed degree under his supervision and he has attened more than 23 national and international Seminar/Symposia/Workshop. He is a life member of Indian society of soil science, and other professional societies.
