Biography

 Dr Ramesh obtained his MBBS from the National University of Singapore and completed his Masters in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2007. He underwent Advanced Surgical Training in Orthopaedic Surgery and obtained his Fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2010.

He was awarded the HMDP government scholarship to undertake a clinical fellowship in Shoulder and Knee Surgery at the Santry Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin, Ireland. He was then awarded the Tan Tock Seng Scholarship to pursue a Sports Fellowship in Knee Surgery at Hospital Quiron in Barcelona, Spain under the supervision of Professor Ramon Cugat, who is a consultant for the Spanish soccer players.  As part of this training, Dr Ramesh also spent time with the Mutualidad de Futbolistas Catalanes orthopaedic teams taking care of the soccer players in Barcelona and the Spanish province of Catalunya. He also completed a Fellowship in Shoulder Surgery at Hospital Del Mar in Barcelona.
