Dr.Suresh Sagadevan is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Physics in AMET University, Chennai. He completed his M.Sc, M.Phil and PhD degree in Physics from Madras University, Chennai, India. He has published 130 papers in reputed International Journals and National Journals. He had participated in many national and international workshops, seminars and conferences. He has been the convener for the symposiums in materials research conducted at national level. He has five years of experience in material research and two years in teaching. He has published a book chapter and seven international text books. His area of research includes material science, crystal growth and nanotechnology. He is a life member of many Indian and International Research associations such as Life member of International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT), Singapore, American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT), Indian Association of Physics Teacher (IAPT), New Delhi, Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi, Semiconductor Society of India, New Delhi, India and Physical Society of Kolkata, India.

His area of research includes material science, crystal growth and nanotechnology.
