Biography

Dr Tom Sutherland graduated from Monash University in 2002 and completed his residency at The Alfred Hospital before moving to St Vincent's hospital to undertake radiology training. He spent his fellowship year in MRI and also gained a Masters in Medicine from The University of Melbourne focusing on CT colonography. His special interests are abdominal imaging, neuroradiology and CT and ultrasound guided procedures. Dr Sutherland has undertaken research during this time, publishing articles on renal transplant ultrasound, ultrasound contrast agents (for liver and spleen), CT and ultrasound of focal splenic lesions, CT of pancreatic neoplasm and general hepatobilary ultrasound.

Research Interest

Dr Tom Sutherland research focuses on abdominal imaging, neuroradiology and CT and ultrasound guided procedures.
