Biography
Dr. Antonio Tristán-Vega received the Ms.C. and the Ph.D. degrees from the University of Valladolid, Spain, in 2004 and 2009, respectively. He stood for five years with the Department of Signal Theory and Communications at the E.T.S.I. de Telecomunicacion in Valladolid. During this period he was awarded with a Fulbright Scholarship for a one-year stay as a Research Fellow with the Laboratory of Mathematics in Imaging at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston. He is currently Assistant Professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Escuela de Ingenieros Industriales (University of Valladolid). His research interests include Diffusion Imaging processing and understanding, sparse methods for image restoration and bio-mechanical modeling in abdominal images for the diagnosis of Aortic Aneurism.
