Dr. Wade A. Russu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics and Medicinal Chemistry in the University of the Pacific, USA. Dr. Wade A. Russu graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a bachelor of science in 1992 and received his doctor of philosophy from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2000. He underwent graduate training at the Cancer Research Institute, University of California, Irvine for two years, and also at the Institute for Brain Aging and Dementia, University of California, Irvine for two years as well. He has been at University of Pacific since 2005.

Dr. Wade A. Russu research interest are drug discovery, design and synthesis, anti-cancer and anti-viral chemotherapeutics, peptide and peptidomimetic design, methodology for organic synthesis.
