Biography
William L Simpson, Jr, MD is an Associate Professor in the Body Imaging section of the department of radiology at The Mount Sinai Medical Center. He graduated from medical school in his home state at the Medical University of South Carolina. After a transitional internship at Emory University in Atlanta he began his career at Mount Sinai by completing radiology residency and a body imaging/mammography fellowship at this institution. He then joined the faculty in 2000 as an Assistant Professor. From 2003-2010 he served as the Director of Medical Student Education for the radiology department. In that role he developed and initiated the required 4th year radiology clerkship.
