Dr. Xia Jin is currently appointed as a Research Associate Professor in Department of Medicine, Infectious Diseases at University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Xia Jin completed his Ph.D. in Human Viral Immunology from Open University, Cambridge University Clinical School in1995. He obtained MD degree in Medicine and Surgery from Peking Union Medical College. Dr. Jin has around 62 publications and few patents and has received many honors and awards. Dr. Jin’s overall laboratory research program focuses on studying human viral immunology and pathogenesis in two model systems: HIV and dengue virus.
