XinRong Li is an Associate Professor at Shapotou Desert Research & Experiment Station, Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China.  As a Scientist, he is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in agriculture. His research interests lie in Sand binding, survival mechanisms, psammophytes, arid desert, stress-gradient.
