Biography

I currently serve as the Clerkship Director for the Obstetrics and Gynecology core clerkship at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. I enjoy teaching clinical aspects of women?s reproductive health to medical students and my research revolves around integrating technology into medical and patient education. I have also been active with patient advocacy work, global women?s health, and some clinical research. Originally from India, I have been in UCLA since 2011. Los Angeles has offered amazing weather and I have found some amazing like-minded colleagues at UCLA making my work life so enjoyable!

Mobile Applications for Contraception Information: A Short Overview

The use of modern technological devices such as smartphones and tablets is increasing in the U.S. One in five smartphone owners have a mobile application related to health. Although there are many healthcare applications regarding contraception, little has been published about the content and functionalities of these applications.
