A pot experiment was carried out at the University of Agriculture, college of plant science (co-plant) Abeokuta. Nigeria, using the Complete Randomizes Design (CRD) to study the effect of compost and the different species of mycorrhizae on the growth and yield of soybean (Glycine max). Significant differences were observed between the treatments on some growth and yield parameters of soybeans at the vegetative stage and the reproductive stage. This implies that the treatments applied showed different responses to the crop. The crop performed better in the number of branches, canopy spread, number of leaves, leaf area and plant height for growth parameters, while significant differences was observed in seed weight/pot and seed weight/ha for yield parameters. The study concludes that the ... view moreĀ»
