Dr. Baland S. Jalal is a researcher at Harvard University, Department of Psychology and visiting researcher at Cambridge University, Department of Psychiatry. He obtained his Ph.D. at Cambridge University in the School of Clinical Medicine (Trinity College Cambridge) and was a Fellow at Harvard University (2016, 2018).

Purpose: In two pilot investigations we compared sleep paralysis (SP) rates using a self-report versus interview assessment method in two samples from the general population of Denmark, and one sample from the general population of the United States (US).
