Biography
Dr. Burak TURGUT received his education on Medicine in Firat University, Faculty of Medicine, in Elaz??, Turkey between 1989-1995. He completed his residency training on ophthalmology in Department of Ophthalmology at Firat University, Faculty of Medicine in 2001. He worked as an ophthalmologist in Ophthalmology Clinic of Elazi? State Hospital between 2002 and 2006 years. He entered to the Department of Ophthalmology at Firat University as a teaching staff

Idiopathic Macular Ischemia: A Case Report
We report here a case with idiopathic macular ischemia. A 46 year-old man presented to the university hospital with the complaint of blurred vision in his right eye for a period of one month. Fundus examination revealed the perivascular sheathings and attenuating arterioles, collaterals in macula in both eyes. Fluorescein angiography showed central macular ischemia in both eyes.
