Biography
Dr. Ronald J Burke is one of Canada’s most prolific researchers, Professor Burke’s work has focused on the relationship between the work environment and the individual’s overall well being, and over the past forty years he has written articles for numerous academic and professional journals. In addition to his research and teaching activities, Professor Burke was the Founding Editor of the Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences.

Sexual harassment and sexual assault are traumatic events for victims and bystanders. Sexual harassment and sexual assaults have likely occurred over the past several centuries and in every country on earth. In the United States, several women undertook research and writing on sexual harassment at least 30 to 35 years ago. Despite these, and continuing efforts, nothing has changed. Sexual harassment and sexual assaults continue to this day.
