Doug Cary completed his PhD at the School of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science, Curtin University and works at Esperance Physiotherapy and with AAP Education. Doug completed his sleep posture research in 2020. Currently he is developing an online course titled 'The Sleep Mastery Course' to assist clinicians incorporate sleep assessment and treatment into clinical practice.

Introduction: Sleeping is generally considered a period for rest and recovery, however some people wake with spinal symptoms not present on going to sleep and seek treatment.
