Exophthalmia as a First Manifestation of Epitheliod Hemangioma

A 25-year-old man had a three-month history of a slowly progressive exophthalmos of the left eye, fluctuating swelling of the eyelids, and diplopia. We evaluated the exophthalmos using CT and MRI, and performed excisional biopsy and pathologic examination. Histopathological findings were compatible with a diagnosis of epithelioid hemangioma.
