Eleri jones started her research career in the mid-1970s as a nutritional biochemist with a focus on ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Since the early 1990s her research focus has shifted to tourism and management. She therefore equally comfortable with the application of quantitative and qualitative methods and would categorise myself as a pragmatist.
